A Day Without Rain!

At last a day without rain! Ian, John and Jayne welcomed Sue who was tempted to try the famous Tourers rides. Her marathon prowess was evident as the 4 riders ascended the hill beside Kurowski castle, with Sue easily riding to the fore. Left at the top of the hill and on up towards Heol of Oel there was plenty of splashing through large, and to the unwary, deep puddles. Behind the windmills and across to Tanglwst Jayney was pleased that this was a new route to the other riders. The junction on the B road to Emlyn was almost completely covered in an enormous puddle but before moving on to '5 roads' time was spent waving at a peloton of Mazda sports cars. To avoid a very rough and puddly route to Drefach the riders took the more open but no less steep descent via Penboyer before riding back to Emlyn and welcome refreshments at the Emlyn Arms.
