Trumpisms

This is not a fake news report and I mean that, Bigly! Enough of Trumpisms and on with todays ride. Four intrepid Velo Vixens, three of whom started out soaking wet, departed Cenarth heading towards Abercych, then on to Cilgerran and up to the Pen y Bryn junction. Jayney K, being the least fit after time off the bike nursing a cold played tail end Charlie. However she fiendishly inflicted the hill from Pen y Bryn to Croft on the other three ladies. The ploy did not work as three of the ladies took the hill in their stride while Jayney stretched her walking legs. Climbing westwards, the girls then descended a long sweeping hill towards St. Dogmaels with a nice surprise in a sharp little hairpin at the bottom. Coffee and cake was taken in the Abbey coach house and jolly good it was too. It was decided to ride back through the Wildlife centre, Cilgerran and across Llechryd bridge to take the A road back to Cenarth. Michelle suggested a 'chain gang (time trially - mode)' along the main road. Making sure there are no cars behind you when you peel off is a good idea as well as plenty of other safety considerations but the girls safely arrived at Cenarth and farewells were said to Anne and Michelle while Julie and Jayney headed homewards to Emlyn.
